STARR Trek goes GREEN
STARRS has gone green again! The STARR Trek is working to reduce its impact on the environment. We're providing:

• Recycling receptacles for plastic bottles and aluminum cans
• Organic race shirts
• Composting receptacles
• Reusable race bags

We will also be providing eco info booths.

STARRS has been recycling for a couple years now, and last year at our races we were able to divert 65% of our waste from the landfill.

Thanks to our 2008 entry fees and donations from Gill Landscape Nursery, we were able to plant native trees in Cole Park to help offset the impact of the race.
